Shooting a collaboration in Paris.

Wow! What an incredible job this was. We got the chance to head out to Chamonix, a stunning alpine town which is absolutely breathtaking! We headed over for a couple of days with Strava for their Trailblazers event. I had the job of capturing content for Josh, both photography and videography, as he took part in the event.

What did the job involve for me? A 10km run in the mountains with a bag full of kit on my back. Being up amongst the terrain meant no bike, no car and no choice but to run the event too! In the bag was 2 camera bodies (you can never be too careful when shooting events like this!), 3 lenses, a go pro and a drone! Not the lightest packing for a 10km trail run, but the created content was so worth the extra weight!

The brief was simple. Showcase an authentic travel experience for those that navigate the world differently, as Sophie wonderfully wrote in her article online published on the Condé Nast Traveler website. Seeing this article with the words written, experience described with images to complement it was special. It all came together after the job was complete and the article really brought to life what Sophie was looking to achieve...changing the landscape of inclusive travel.

Over the 5 days of travelling around the country, we were able to explore and see such a variety in life. From the busy Marrakech to the small towns in between larger cities. I was blown away by the landscape, the way moroccan people lived and how different life was outside of the busy connected city. We drove for hours, driving through so many locations through the Atlas Mountains towards the Sahara dessert. The views from the road were absolutely incredible, car journey views that will be extremely hard to beat.
