MOROCCO

A week of travelling around Morocco with Sophie Morgan capturing content to showcase accessible travel.

This job was really special. From the very beginning, meeting Sophie for the very first time at the airport, before travelling around Morocco together for 5 days being complete strangers. there is something really beautiful about how connected this online world can be making us feel like we know somebody before you meet. We arrived at the airport and from the moment we landed, I could tell this work trip was going to be very special.

There is something about the energy Sophie brings, the real and raw content creating which was so, so refreshing. Morocco had been on my shoot list for as long as I could remember. Having a best friend grow up in Morocco and going back to visit regularly always gave me a reason to want to go and explore. When this opportunity came around, it was a yes from the get go! Sophie got in contact after seeing work completed with Josh in Chamonix and spoke highly of my work, something I was extremely grateful for and from just a few voice note exchanges, I knew the content we were about to create on this epic trip was going to be some of my favourite work...ever.

The brief was simple. Showcase an authentic travel experience for those that navigate the world differently, as Sophie wonderfully wrote in her article online published on the Condé Nast Traveler website. Seeing this article with the words written, experience described with images to complement it was special. It all came together after the job was complete and the article really brought to life what Sophie was looking to achieve...changing the landscape of inclusive travel.

Over the 5 days of travelling around the country, we were able to explore and see such a variety in life. From the busy Marrakech to the small towns in between larger cities. I was blown away by the landscape, the way moroccan people lived and how different life was outside of the busy connected city. We drove for hours, driving through so many locations through the Atlas Mountains towards the Sahara dessert. The views from the road were absolutely incredible, car journey views that will be extremely hard to beat.

"Reece's ability to create stunning, eye-catching, thumb-stopping content sets his work apart. His signature style - aka. 'the Reece effect - elevates the world in which we live, making any scene or any subject distinctive enough to grace the pages any luxury fashion or travel magazine. And to top it all off, Reece himself is a joy to work with with a faster turn-around than anyone I've ever worked with." - Sophie Morgan
